Actor Shruti Haasan has always been open about her relationships. Last year, she announced her breakup with boyfriend Santanu Hazarika, and earlier she had admitted to dating actor Michael Corsale. In a recent interaction, Shruti spoke about her failed relationships and admitted to getting too influenced by them.
Speaking to Filmfare, she said, “When I go, I go all in, when I leave, I run away. We all have that one ‘dangerous ex’ but apart from that I really close the chapter with no regrets.”
Shruti Haasan admitted that her relationships have been her biggest life lessons. When asked if her partners feel intimidated by her success, she said, “No, I don’t think so. That’s not what I am in my private life.”
Shruti also accepted having no ‘regrets’ in her relationships. However, she said she feels bad about hurting a few people who mattered to her. When she was asked what she would want to change in herself, she said, “I have hurt some people and I wish I didn’t do that. Everything else, I have like zero regrets. I’m like, okay, I was a clown, it’s fine. Just some people that were very valuable to me, I hurt them by mistake and I always now spend my time saying sorry for it.”
Shruti Haasan dated London-based actor Michael Corsale but they parted ways in 2019. She then started dating visual artist, Santanu Hazarika, in 2020. However, their relationship also didn’t last and they broke up in 2024.
