Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput’s simple gurduwara wedding: Watch video

Theirs was a simple wedding, but that didn’t make it any less special. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Raput exchanged vows in a simple gurudwara wedding, which is said to have taken place at a farm house on the outskirts of Delhi. The ceremony was attended by around 40 guests including close family and friends.

A video of the ceremony has made its way online. It shows the groom, Shahid Kapoor seated along with his bride Mira as the rituals and prayers take place. Shahid wore a white kurta-pyjama with an orange turban, while Mira was pretty in a green and pink churridar. She looked the perfect bride as she draped a dupatta over her head, pairing it with jewels and maang tikka.

You can also see Shahid’s dad Pankaj also seated next to the bridal couple. He was wearing white kurta pyjama with light blue turban.

Thereafter, the celebrations continued at a reception which was held at the Oberoi hotel, Gurgaon for guests and close family members. Prior to this, Shahid had introduced his beautiful bride Mira to the media as they posed hand-in-hand for pictures.

Mira was stunning in a rose-hued Anamika Khanna creation, while Shahid Kapoor was stately in a cream sherwani by his designer friend Kunal Rawal.

Guests Masaba Gutpa, Mashu Mantena, Kunal Rawal, Bosco Martis and Mubina Rattonsey shared quite a few pictures of the happy couple and the celebrations inside.

A grand reception will also take place in Mumbai on July 12, which will be attended by the industry’s who’s who.
