Akshay Kumar answers if wife Twinkle Khanna checks his mobile phone: 'No one knows my password in my family'

Akshay Kumar was recently asked whether wife Twinkle Khanna checks his phone. The actor's answer left everybody in splits. He also revealed the one person's phone he would like to check.

‘Does your wife check you phone?’ was the question thrown at Akshay Kumar at the trailer launch event of Khel Khel Mein–a movie that’s set to release on Independence Day alongside the sequel of the popular horror-comedy film Stree. What Akshay had to say to this left everyone in splits. The trailer of Khel Khel Mein revealed that the entire story revolves around a game between couples that involves their phones. While it clearly looked risky in the movie, how it was in real life for Akshay Kumar was funnier to hear.

On 2 August, the makers of Khel Khel Mein starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Fardeen Khan organised a trailer launch event. The event was done in the presence of the film’s ensemble cast, who after the trailer drop interacted with media and fans present at the venue. During one such interaction, a journalist asked Akshay Kumar, whether his wife Twinkle Khanna checks his phone.

Akshay, known for his quirkiness, quickly replied, “Mere parivar mein cell phone ka password kisi ko nahi pata. Toh wo khulega hi nahi (no one in my family knows my phone password. So it won’t open.)”

The actor was then asked if he had a chance to check someone’s phone, whose would it be? The Kesari star said he would check filmmaker Mudassar Aziz’s phone as he is a romantic person.

Khel Khel Mein will mark Akshay Kumar’s third film for the year after Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira. Both of which tanked at the box office.

Akshay and Twinkle tied the knot in 2001 and are parents to a son and a daughter. In May, the actor opened up about his marriage in Jio Cinema’s Dhawan Karenge and said, “I am lucky to marry superstar Rajesh Khanna’s daughter but I am lucky that she is a lovely wife and a lovely mother. If you get the right partner in life, then your life is perfect. I go to work and she has taken such good care of my children.”
