Bollywood actor Tiku Talsania was recently hospitalised after suffering a brain stroke. However, his condition has since stabilised, as confirmed by his daughter and fellow actor, Shikha Talsania. Taking to Instagram, Shikha shared an update on her father’s health, expressing gratitude to fans and acknowledging the efforts of the staff and doctors at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

In her Instagram story, Shikha wrote, “Thank you for all your prayers and concern. It’s been an emotional time for all of us but we are happy to share that dad is doing much better now and is recuperating well. We are grateful to the Doctors and Staff at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for everything that they have done and to his fans for all the love that’s come our way in abundance.”

Initially, on Saturday, reports suggested that Tiku had suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. However, on Sunday, his wife, Deepti Talsania, clarified the situation, stating that the actor had experienced a brain stroke. Speaking to NDTV, she explained, “He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He had gone to attend a film screening and started feeling unwell around 8 pm. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.”

Tiku is renowned for his comic roles in iconic films such as Raja Hindustani, Andaz Apna Apna, Ishq and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. He started his journey in Hindi cinema with Rajeev Mehra’s Pyaar Ke Do Pal (1986). His exceptional performances in movies like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Andaz Apna Apna, and Mr Bechara earned him recognition. Talsania’s impeccable comedic timing was evident in popular hits such as the ensemble cast film Ishq, the comedy Jodi No. 1, and the Salman Khan-Govinda starrer Partner (2007). More recently, he appeared in Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus and Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
