Social media not that intrusive: Katrina Kaif

“You want your privacy, you feel, ‘What I have to say to the audience is I say to my films.’ It’s just the nature of me being little guarded. Now, I’m on it and I’ve realised that there is nothing that intrusive about it and it’s a lovely place to be.”

While her industry peers are quite active on Twitter and Instagram, the 33-year-old actress is set to join the two platforms.

On the work front, Katrina will be next seen in romantic-drama “Baar Baar Dekho”. While talking to IndianExpress.com director Nitya Mehra spoke about why she signed Katrina for this film.

“Katrina has done so many films and with that body of work you feel you’ve probably seen everything, but no. I don’t know whether she related to the character or we had a good character and the merger of the two was really good. I don’t think she has played such a real character before. I think that was very exciting for me to kind of scratch the surface and say who’s Katrina behind all that. I enjoy that. That’s a challenge as a director”.
