Sikandar producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife lashes out at Salman Khan’s fans on social media after being accused of tanking his career: ‘Get well soon’
Disappointed Salman Khan fans have been blaming the producers for Sikandar's failure, engaging in war of words with Sajid Nadiadwala's wife, Warda Khan.

After Sikandar’s poor performance at the box office, producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife, Warda Khan, could be seen engaging in war of words with his fans, who are blaming the producers for the film’s failure. Warda Khan posted and reposted positive reactions to the film on her X handle. However, disappointed fans of Salman Khan could also be seen expressing their anger in the comments section by criticising the producers and saying, “You have scammed us.”
Sikandar, which was released on the occasion of Eid, failed to meet the expectations of Salman’s die-hard fans, and under-performed at the box office. The film opened at Rs 26 crore and received negative reviews from critics, resulting in negative word-of-mouth. This has heavily impacted the film’s box office collection, which is far from crossing Rs 100 crore mark in India.

A section of X users have been blaming the producers for “spoiling” Salman Khan’s career. In one such post, a fan commented, “Have some shame, or would you not stop until you destroy Salman Khan’s career?” Another user commented, tagging Warda Khan, “How can you be so shameless?” An angry Warda lashed out at the fan in her now-deleted reply. When a user called her a “Jaahil aurat,” she commented, “Get well soon.”

Several screenshots of her comments to fans have now been shared on Reddit. However, it seems like Warda has now deleted most of them from her feed. Many on Reddit criticised her use of distasteful language. However, a set of people are also speaking in her support, suggesting Salman Khan is to be blamed for his choice of movies and not the producers. A user wrote on Reddit, “She had nothing to do with the movie. It is Salman who chose the script and director. It is on him. But these fans can’t call him out.”
Warda Khan has been actively promoting Sikandar in a good light by sharing positive reviews of fans. Resharing a fan’s post that read: “Sikandar just owned every fan’s heart”, Warda wrote, “Yoo-hoo, Sikandar ka fans ke dillon pe raaj.” Similarly, re-sharing another post that read, “Salman Khan’s Sikandar will earn more thn Rs 20 crore at the box office,” Warda Khan wrote, “Jawaan audience ka karara Jawab.”

The film, in four days, has managed to earn just Rs 84 crore at the Indian box office with Rs 26 crore on day 1 and 29 crore on day 2. However, according to the makers, the film earned Rs 35.47 crore in India on its release day, followed by Rs 39.37 crore on day 2. The film has reportedly collected Rs 141.15 crore worldwide in three days of release.

Several theatre owners have removed the film or replaced it with other regional films. Sikandar, which had over 8000 shows across India, has now reduced to 7000 shows due to poor performance.
