Shoojit Sircar,John Abraham to work with Ayushmann Khurrana again

Shoojit Sircar and John Abraham are to co-produce a film based on football with Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead along with Abraham. But when contacted,Sircar neither denied nor confirmed the news. “At this moment,I won’t be able to say anything because I’m still working on the script. Nothing is finalised yet,” he said.

Meanwhile,Sircar will co-produce a Bengali film under their banner Rising Sun Films. Confirming,he said,“Directed by Anindo Chatterjee,it is a coming-of-age film,about teenage years,first love and the first kiss. The film is also about football.”

When queried about Hamara Bajaj which Khurrana is a part of,Sircar stated that the film will take sometime to go on the floors. “I’m not very happy with the script,and so I’m still working on it,” said the director about the film which is about a struggling actor.

Sircar is also producing Running Shadi.com along with Ronnie Lahiri under their banner Rising Sun Films. With Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles,the film,a romantic comedy,took off recently in Amritsar.
