Shahid Kapoor corrects paparazzi on how to pronounce Kriti Sanon’s name, watch fun interaction at Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya trailer launch

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will be sharing the screen for the first time in their upcoming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

Recently, Aamir Khan was instructed by his daughter Ira to correct the paparazzi on how to pronounce her name, and last evening, Kriti Sanon faced a similar problem at the trailer launch event of her coming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Kriti stars in the film alongside Shahid Kapoor. While this is the first time that they’re doing a film together, they shared a glimpse of their chemistry at the event, when Shahid corrected the paparazzi on how to correctly pronounce Kriti’s name.

In a clip shared online, Shahid and Kriti posed for the photographers, as Shahid said, “Inka naam hai ‘Kirti Sanon.” Reacting to this, Kriti jokingly tried to hit Shahid. The actor then asked the paps, “Kya hai inka naam?” and got a wrong response. Upset by the reply, Kriti said, “They are already calling my name wrong, please.”

Shahid made the photogs repeat Kriti’s name two or three times, much to everybody’s amusement.

The trailer for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was unveiled on Thursday. The film, helmed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is being tagged as a ‘family entertainer’ and is scheduled to hit theatres during Valentine’s week on February 9. It also stars veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.

The film is about a love story of a human (Shahid) and a robot (Kriti). In the film, Kriti’s character is named Sifra, which stands for Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan Maddock Film’s banner.

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the action-thriller film Bloody Daddy, helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film streamed on the OTT platform JioCinema. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon was last seen in the action thriller Ganpath: Part 1 opposite Tiger Shroff. She has The Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Diljit Dosanjh lined up next.
