Daughter of actor Chunky Panday, Ananya Panday grew up around the biggest stars of Bollywood and made friends which like her, would later go on to follow in the footsteps of their family. One of Ananya’s closest confidants from her childhood days is actor Suhana Khan, who is the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview, Ananya talked about Shah Rukh’s involvement in their lives while growing up.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Ananya talked about growing up with Suhana and Shanaya Kapoor (daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor) and how Shah Rukh was always present for all the kids. She said, “While growing up, I saw firsthand what an amazing father he is to Aryan, Suhana and AbRam and the way he’s been with all of us. He would train us all for our sports day and taekwondo competitions. He was very, very present in what was happening in our lives.” She added that even now Shah Rukh takes an interest in the lives and careers of the kids.

She further appreciated the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor’s demeanour and attitude towards life and said, “I think the way Shah Rukh Khan handles his personal and professional life – there’s no one like him.” Ananya admitted that he has the special quality of making someone feel that “they are the only person in the world.”
While Ananya Panday is yet to share a screen with Shah Rukh, his own daughter Suhana Khan will have the chance to do just that in their upcoming film King. After appearing in the legal drama Kesari 2, alongside R Madhavan and Akshay Kumar, Ananya will next be seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri with Kartik Aaryan.
