PM Modi spends half his time abroad: Priyanka Gandhi

Defending Rahul, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that Prime Minister Modi spends almost half his working time abroad, yet no one questions him.

NCP (Sharad Pawar) leader Rohit Pawar defended Gandhi, saying even if Rahul Gandhi is not present, the government should at least respond to the questions raised by the other leaders. “I cannot say why he has gone to Germany right now, but we will come to know later. However, whatever questions the other MPs raise in Parliament, you should answer those… There must be something important. He cannot tell me what is happening in Delhi. We can talk about what is happening in Maharashtra. But if he has a personal reason or any other reason, we can comment on it only after we find out what it is.”

Congress MP Nana Patole said: “He will tell everyone why he is going to Germany… BJP wants Rahul Gandhi to leave India because they are afraid of him.”

As per news agency PTI, Rahul Gandhi will be on a visit to Germany from December 15 to 20, during which he will engage with the Indian diaspora and meet German ministers.
