Actor Shah Rukh Khan is known to be smart with his choice of words, be it offline in interviews or on social media. On Wednesday, the actor’s tweet caught fans’ attention, which was a reply to renowned businessman and chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra. The actor said that he tries to entertain as much as he can when the entrepreneur complimented him on his energy in the Jawan track, Zinda Banda.

Anand, who is active on Twitter, tweeted Shah Rukh’s song Zinda Banda from the upcoming film Jawan and said that at 57, Shah Rukh’s “ageing process defies gravitational forces!”

Shah Rukh retweeted the compliment and wrote, “@anandmahindra Life is so short and fast sir, just trying to keep up with it. Try and entertain as many whatever it takes….laugh..cry…shake…or fly…hopefully make some to swim with the stars….dream for a few moments of joy.”

Shah Rukh’s reply won the hearts of his fans who commented on his tweet. A fan wrote, “Zinda Banda Powering Youth. Perfect example of Ageing like Fine Wine”, another follower wrote, “Greatest of all times.”

Zinda Banda is the first track from Shah Rukh’s upcoming film Jawan. A dance track, the song shows Shah Rukh’s dancing prowess and energy to the audience after a long time in cinema. The film marks the actor’s first collaboration with Tamil director Atlee. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.

The film is slated to release on September 7 and will release in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Post this, Shah Rukh Khan will star in Dunki, which is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film, also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
