Shah Rukh Khan will be in Don 3; rest of the cast will depend on characters: Farhan Akhtar

While fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of ‘Don 3’ from Farhan Akhtar and Co., the actor-director said on Wednesday (November 18) that he doesn’t have a script ready yet for part three of the successful franchise. However, Farhan did indicate that it will be Shah Rukh Khan who will reprise Don’s character but didn’t offer any confirmation on Priyanka Chopra and the other star cast.

When asked if the original pair Shah Rukh and Priyanka Chopra will reprise their roles, Farhan said, “I don’t have a script ready yet. So, it will be difficult to tell who will be in it. Don (SRK) will definitely be in it. Apart from that I don’t know. It will depend on what characters are written.”

Admitting his love for Don’s character, Farhan Akhtar said: “I enjoyed that character tremendously. He is a very exciting character to write. Also I had a tremendous time working with Shah Rukh Khan so hopefully something will come along but I don’t have a plan yet.”

Shah Rukh Khan has donned the role of Don twice. Farhan Akhtar will be seen in Wazir with Amitabh Bachchan.
