Salman Khan opens up on struggle with brain aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation, says ‘Uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain’
In the premiere episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, Salman Khan opened up about his ongoing health issues and shared that he continues to work hard in spite of them.

Superstar Salman Khan appeared on the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show’s Season 3. While Salman enjoyed the comedic acts by Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek, he also had a heartfelt conversation with Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu, and Archana Puran Singh. On the show, the Sikandar actor opened up about his ongoing health issues and shared his reasons for choosing to remain unmarried.
When Archana asked Salman why he always gets asked about his marriage, he said, “What difference will my marriage make in anyone’s life? The thing is that patience, those fights, the sacrifice husband and wife make for each other, the tolerance factor doesn’t exist. Today, people get divorced over snoring or a small misunderstanding.”
Kapil Sharma then asked Salman Khan about his plans to get married. The actor replied that he doesn’t want to lose his hard-earned wealth if his wife decides to divorce him. Further, he went on the share that at 59, with several health issues, he doesn’t have the strength to rebuild all his wealth, if his wife decides to take half of it.
Despite having an aneurysm in the brain and an AV malformation, I am working, says Salman Khan
While discussing his health issues, Salman also alluded to the rib injury he sustained during the shoot of Sikandar and said, “Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain (I have gotten my bones broken, dealing with trigeminal neuralgia. Despite having an aneurysm in the brain and an AV Malformation, I am working). I do action, I am not able to walk, still I am dancing. All of this is going on in my life.”

He added, “Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se, nahi ho paega (And the moment their mood gets spoiled, they will walk away with half of our earnings. Had it been in the younger days, it would have been fine. I would have earned more money, but now it won’t be possible to do so).”
Salman Khan’s last film, Sikandar, tanked at the box office. The actor also joked about the same and said that he didn’t gain anything out of that film.
