(Photo: Filmystaaan, Kareena Kapoor/Instagram)Weeks after actor Saif Ali Khan got stabbed in his home in Bandra, Mumbai, the actor and his family had added some extra security measures at their home. Videos from the apartment of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor suggest that they have added some extra fencing to their balcony, so no one can enter their house via the balcony. The intruder who attacked Saif entered their house via the stairs. Saif has been given extra security by the police as well.
The couple has also asked the paparazzi in Mumbai to not photograph their children Taimur and Jeh after the incident. They have also requested the photographers to not crowd around their house as constant vigilance upon the actors can aid those who are trying to track their movements.
Kareena and Saif’s apartment building was previously a hub for paparazzi as they always photographed the family coming in and out of their house. The culture of Indian paparazzi saw a significant shift after Taimur Ali Khan’s birth in 2016, and since then, the cultural has gotten increasingly invasive.

Saif was attacked on January 16 in his home in Bandra. The actor was stabbed six times by an intruder who was allegedly spotted in Jeh Ali Khan’s (3) bedroom by his nanny Eliyamma Philip. Eliyamma tried to stop the intruder and asked what he wanted and he apparently asked for Rs 1 crore. Eliyamma alerted the other members of the house as a scuffle ensued. It was in this scuffle that Saif got injured in trying to protect his family. The intruder was temporarily locked in the room but he managed to get away.
Three days after the attack, a man named Mohammed Shariful Islam was taken to custody by the police for allegedly attacking Saif. He has now been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
