Raid 2 box office collection day 3: Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 sees a spike, earns Rs 49.25 crore in India and Rs 40.5 crore worldwide.

Raid 2 box office collection day 3: Ajay Devgn’s crime thriller Raid 2 opened on Thursday to a mixed response from the audience and critics. After collecting Rs 19.25 crore on Day 1, the film saw a massive dip on Friday with earnings of Rs 12 crore. However, the Raj Kumar Gupta directorial saw a spike on Saturday. On its third day at the box office, Raid 2 earned Rs 18 crore.
As per trade tracker Sacnilk, Raid 2’s net collection in India stands at Rs 49.25 crore. Worldwide in two days, the Ajay Devgn film has earned Rs 40.5 crore. At a time when films are not performing well commercially, Raid 2 seems to be having a decent run so far. Raid 2 has also performed a lot better than Ajay’s last film, Azaad.

Unfortunately, Raid 2 is also losing shows. By Saturday, more than 350 screenings had been cancelled. On Saturday alone, the number of Raid 2 shows decreased by 207, bringing the total to 4,504 shows for the day, compared to 4,711 shows on Friday. The film’s overall occupancy on Saturday was 30.51 percent. Among major cities, Chennai had the highest occupancy at 56 percent across 54 shows. Bengaluru followed with 43.50 percent occupancy across 217 shows, and Pune recorded 37.75 percent occupancy across 355 shows. Occupancy in Mumbai was 31.50 percent (778 shows), while the Delhi-NCR region saw 33.75 percent occupancy (1,061 shows).

Other than Ajay Devgn, Raid 2 also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in important roles. The film, produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series, released in theaters on May 1, 2025.
