“So privileged that the CM and the entire cabinet loved it. I was moved to hear their comments over the phone. I wish I had been there,” Madhavan said in a statement.

“The film was enjoyed by the politicians, and they were seen raving about its content post the screening,” said a source.

Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and produced by Rajkumar Hirani,“Saala Khadoos” revolves around a boxing coach (Madhavan) who is relentlessly pushing his protege, Ritika Singh, to overcome obstacles and achieve her goals as a boxer.
