The new song of ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’ titled “Jaane De” is out and this could be the track that becomes the love anthem for the next few weeks. Sung by Atif Aslam, it has been filmed on Irrfan Khan and Parvathy. Atif Aslam also appears in the song’s video which has is written by Raj Shekhar and composed by Vishal Mishra.
‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’ is a quirky love story where humour is a strong element of the story. Director Tanuja Chandra, who is known for her directorial features like ‘Sangharsh’ (1999) and ‘Dushman’ (1998), returns to the director’s chair after a long gap of 11 years. Irrfan Khan shared the song on Twitter with the caption, “Wo jo tha khaab sa, kya kahen #JaaneDe?”.
The film is shot in various cities on the banks of the river Ganga. The two characters start their journey as ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’ (almost single) and will probably find love on their way. The film looks like a fun-filled comedy ride that is going to be loved by the audience. The film’s caption, ‘Saath jeene marne wali story nahi hai humari’ (Ours isn’t the live together-die together kind of love story) suggests that the film will stick to light-hearted entertainment and will not be an emotional saga. With Irrfan Khan in the lead role, we can expect that this film will succeed in pleasing the audience members.
‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’ is set to release on November 10.
