She also spoke about her iconic action-thriller Don, starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Sharing insights into her role as Roma from the film Don, Priyanka Chopra shared that the film marked her proper entry into the action genre and how it required significant preparation.

The global star shared that to prepare for her introduction scene in Don, she learned Tai Chi under the guidance of her director, Farhan Akhtar. “I took Tai Chi classes and worked really hard to perfect it because I wanted to do it right,” she added.

Talking about a major take away from Don’s shoot, Priyanka Chopra said, “By the time I came to Don, I had realised that the most important thing to focus on is my craft, not your relationships with your director, co-actors, not how you behave on set, but what you do between action and cut.”

The actor added how she began prioritising detailed character homework to ensure each role felt distinct and shared, “A lot of training went into the action sequences in Don, and I tasted blood a little bit,” she quipped, adding humorously, “I look really good with a weapon in my hand defending my country; what can I say?”
