Priyanka Chopra and Karan Johar were seen catching up at NMACC event days after her interview about being "cornered" in Bollywood went viral.

Days after Priyanka Chopra revealed that she left India to work in the US after she was “cornered” and was not being cast in films, the Citadel actor was seen catching up with her Bollywood colleagues at the grand inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Priyanka attended the high profile party with her husband Nick Jonas.

Many videos of Priyanka are doing the rounds on social media, however, the one that has caught the attention of her fans has the actor hugging Karan Johar as they exchange pleasantries at the event. Nick was also seen hugging Karan as the three of them caught up. Priyanka and Nick also caught up with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Fans took to the comments section and wondered if all was well between Priyanka and Karan. One fan wrote, “After reading Priyanka’s story felt so bad for her, horrible “Bullywood” industry..glad she found her forever happiness and stuck to her work ethics! Like someone else mentioned, unfortunately for her she really has to fake it at these functions 😏” Another user wrote, “Bollywood and there unnatural good behaviour, all are just so good in acting in real world also.”

After Priyanka opened up about her reasons for leaving Bollywood and heading to the US, actor Kangana Ranaut suggested that it was Karan Johar who ganged up against the Dostana actor due to which she had to leave the country. However, Priyanka seems to have buried the past. Aside from her appearance at this party, Priyanka has appeared in two seasons of Koffee with Karan since moving to the US.

Earlier in the day, Nick and Priyanka were spotted outside the Mumbai airport and posed for the photographers. The couple is traveling with their daughter Malti Marie making it her visit to India.
