Parmeet Sethi recalls joining cooking classes to meet women, wife Archana Puran Singh interrupts, ‘I won’t say the door is open for you’
During their son Aaryamann Sethi's latest vlog, Parmeet Sethi told his son the story of how he left sports and all other clubs to join a cooking class.

Actors Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi recently took both their sons and future daughter-in-law Yogita Bihani to Dehradun, and Aaryamann Sethi documented it all during an episode of Aary Vlogs. The family stayed at the home owned and built by Archana’s father and spent their time playing Housie, shooting vlogs, participating in eating challenges and, in the case of Aaryamann, sleeping a lot. While having lunch at the house, Parmeet told an interesting story to his son, which prompted Archana to get up from her seat and intervene in the conversation.
Talking about a school in Dehradun which is currently headed by a cousin of his, Aaryamann told Yogita that the children of that school make pizzas as part of their cooking class. Yogita remarked that she wishes that she went to a school where she could make pizza, and suddenly, Parmeet intervened in the conversation. Aaryamann invited him into the frame and said, “So I had joined cooking classes because all my friends were doing the same, and we would get to eat a lot, but you know what he (Parmeet) said, ‘Maine bhi join kari thi cooking class, saari ladkiyan wahi thi.’ (I too had joined the cooking class because all the girls were there).”
Parmeet added, “All the pretty girls were in that class, so I thought, ‘To hell with sports and everything else, cooking class is the way to go.'” Before the two could continue laughing at the joke, Archana jumped into the frame and said, “This is the time for me to enter. Main toh bolti hoon na ki gate khula hai, lekin ab nahi bolugi (I used to say that you are fair game, but I won’t say that now). Because there are too many takers for Parmeet.” The actor jumped at the opportunity and said, “She wasn’t understanding this for all these years; now she gets it. I am an international star boss.”
The group then went out to shoot a vlog for the family channel, where Aaryamann kept getting distracted by the food. He said, “All of this is very hectic because first of all there is so much food here which I want to eat. Secondly, everyone recognises Mom here, and they want to get a picture. Ayushmaan and I have kind of become her bodyguards, but it’s still a lot of fun.
During a previous vlog with her son, Archana had talked about her challenging love story with husband Parmeet in detail and said, “Parmeet and I were going through a very difficult phase in our marriage. We made mistakes in understanding each other, and sometimes ego gets in the way. Somebody who has loved you guys more than me is your father, and I thought to myself, I cannot let this marriage fail.”
