News 18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024 full winners list: Animal is best film; Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor win big

News 18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024 complete winners list: Varun Dhawan defeated Ranbir Kapoor as he emerged as the winner of the Best Actor award for Bawaal while Shraddha Kapoor took home Best Actress award for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar.

The Showsha Reel Awards 2024 was hosted in Mumbai on Saturday night. Prominent names from Bollywood, like Shraddha Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Sonakshi Sinha, R Madhavan, Vedang Raina, Bobby Deol, Vijay Varma, Kartik Aaryan, and others graced the event. Bobby who also won an award grooved to his famous song Jamal Kudu at the event. Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore were also present at the event. While Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal bagged some big awards, Ranbir Kapoor lost the best actor title to Varun Dhawan. Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also took home a few awards. The event was hosted by Aparshakti Khurana and Neha Dhupia.

Team Kohrra also won the award for the Best Ensemble Cast OTT, while Raj and DK won the Best Director OTT for Farzi. Jubilee won the award for the Best Series. The Jury for the Showsha Reel Awards comprised Aanand L Rai, Prasoon Joshi, Kabir Bedi, Meenakshi Seshadri, Neeraj Ghaywan and Anvitaa Dutt.
