Naseeruddin Shah,Randeep Hooda’s John Day is set to release on September 13

Directed by Ahishor Solomon and produced by Anjum Rizvi,John Day will be an edge of the seat revenge drama.

Anjum Rizvi had earlier produced Naseeruddin Shah’s A Wednesday.

Randeep Hooda,who has shared screen space with Naseeruddin Shah in his debut film Monsoon Wedding said: “I am very lucky that my first ever scene in cinema was with Naseer saab. I was always a big fan of his but after Monsoon Wedding he also became a good friend and confidant. I have learnt a lot from him and I am glad that after doing theatre for so many years with him,I am finally getting such an interesting film to share screen space with him.”

Randeep,who considers Naseeruddin Shah as his guru,friend and a confidant is extremely glad to have finally got a script that will do justice to both his character and that of Naseeruddin Shah. (With Bollywood Hungama inputs)
