Actor Jaaved Jaaferi had a rollercoaster ride in the Indian film industry. To make ends meet, he donned many hats — that of an actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, and VJ, among others. But there were times when Jaaved had to take up not-so-good roles only to pay his bills and ensure his children continued to live in luxury, revealed his son Meezaan Jafri.

In a recent interview, Meezaan talked about his father Jaaved Jaaferi and his struggles in life. “He had to succumb to a lot of trash opportunities. But he had to do it because he knew that he didn’t have any work. He knew he would have to do that to pay for bills and his child’s tuition fees and live up to the lifestyle that his children had gotten into,” Meezan told Bollywood Bubble.

Meezan added that he has seen his father go through the “worst” kind of pressure. He said, “That pressure is the most dangerous. That’s just such a helpless situation. That what will a father do in such a situation? I have seen him go through that.”

Meezan Jafri also shared that when he feels low in life, it is his mother who talks him out of it. “I am a spiritual person, and my mom just brings me out of the situation when I am down,” he said.

Jaaved Jaaferi made his acting debut with Meri Jung in 1985 where he made a huge impact in a negative role. He has been part of many hit films like 100 Days, Salaam Namaste, Singh is Kingg, Bang Bang, and 3 Idiots, among others.
