Kesari 2 Box Office Collection Day 10: Akshay Kumar-starrer eyes Rs 100 cr club globally, makes impressive Rs 8.15 cr; destroys Sikandar and Jatt record
Kesari 2 Box Office Collection Day 10 India and Worldwide: Akshay Kumar-R Madhavan film's domestic nett collection now stands at Rs 65.45, with its Sunday collection at an impressive Rs 8.15 crore.

Kesari 2 box office collection day 10: Patriotic fervour seems to be working heavily in favour of Hindi cinema this year. If Chhaava became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, Akshay Kumar has faced twin successes this year with films like Sky Force, and his latest release, Kesari: Chapter 2. One of the highlights of the film’s run is how Kesari: Chapter 2 has become the go-to film for Hindi audiences this weekend, and it has made more money in the weekend, when compared to the Monday-Thursday of its release.
The film, which also stars Madhavan and Ananya Panday, made Rs 8.15 crore on its second Sunday, which is the highest number since last Sunday, which clocked at Rs 12 crore. The film’s nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 65.45, and is eyeing the Rs 100 crore club in the global market. With the kind of responses to the film, it is clear that this coveted club would be breached in a couple of days.
Kesari: Chapter 2 had a decent occupancy of 29.02%, with the afternoon and evening shows having 33.98% and 41.74% occupancy, respectively. Interestingly, the highest occupancy rates for Kesari: Chapter 2 was seen in places like Chennai (52.25%), and Bengaluru (45.25%). Kesari: Chapter 2 is currently at No 5 in the list of Top 10 Bollywood movies of the year, below films like Chhaava, Skyforce, Sikandar and Jaat. And in comparison to the Rs 8.15 crore Kesari: Chapter 2 made on Day 10, Jatt made Rs 3.75 crore, Sikandar made Rs 1.5 crore, and Skyforce made Rs 5.5 crore. Only Chhaava has made more money on Day 10; it made Rs 40 crore.
Although Kesari: Chapter 2 is gaining lost ground with its performance in the second weekend, and it is clear that the makers are making all the hay while the sun shines, since another legacy release is just around the corner. While the Akshay Kumar film has already braved the onslaught from films like Sunny Deol’s Jaat and other language successes like Good Bad Ugly (Tamil) and Thudarum (Malayalam), Kesari: Chapter 2 might just face its biggest competition from Thursday, which marks the release date of Ajay Devgn’s much-anticipated sequel, Raid 2.
