Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani romance each other in Pasoori remake for Satyaprem Ki Katha, fans divided
Netizens are divided as the Pakistani hit song Pasoori is sung by Arijit Singh for Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha is all set to hit theatres on June 29. Touted as a musical romantic drama, the makers have now released the song ‘Pasoori Nu’. The song is crooned by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar and the lyrics of the song are given by Gurpreet Saini and Ali Sethi.
The video features Kartik and Kiara romancing each other, showcasing different phases of their relationship from the movie. They can be seen dancing against the backdrop of beautiful snow capped mountains. The makers have previously released songs like Naseeb Se, Aaj Ke Baad, Gujju Pataka, and Sun Sajni.
The original song has gained immense popularity with its mesmerizing rendition by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. When the reports about the remake initially surfaced online, fans were left disappointed. One of the fans tweeted, “I really hope this #Pasoori recreation from #SatyaPremKiKatha is not true. So far the album is unique & original. One remake song will tarnish the image of the entire album! Please @NGEMovies – do not use the song.”
However, the current sentiment among fans has shifted, with some now praising the song and Arijit. One of the fans, said, “Arijit sir’s version of Pasoori, The best gift for every music fan.” Another said, “Wow..completely different lyrics, except the hoook line .thanks for this different version..Absolute Goosebumps.” However, many still believed that the original Pakistani song should have been left alone. “No one can beat the original,” wrote one, while another said, “Why can’t Bollywood come up with fresh songs instead of lifting them from everywhere.”
Talking about the movie, Kartik said in an interview with Hello magazine, “I think the love and craze for romantic movies is still alive. Bollywood has always been known for its iconic romantic films, but I guess they’re trickier than even comedy. Today, the definition of love has changed, even though the emotion remains the same. When I pick a romantic movie, I make sure it has something real for the audience to connect with, for them to relate their relationships with.”
