Karan Johar says he watched ‘the trailer of the century’; netizens deduce it’s Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan’s trailer

On his Instagram story, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani director exclaimed, “I just witnessed the trailer of the century!!!!!!! #iykyk,” without disclosing the film’s title. However, netizens quickly deduced that Karan was actually talking about the trailer of Jawan.

Recently, SRK released the teaser of the third song from Jawan. The track has a unique title “Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya” which is a reference to the classic song from the iconic film Shree 420.

Karan Johar recently took to social media and shared a cryptic post about a trailer he was thoroughly impressed with.

“Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya” looks like another dance number after “Zinda Banda”. Fans seemed to be excited after watching the track’s teaser. Several fans commented “Masss” and “Zabardast” (fantastic) in the comments section of the video.

This is the third song of the film to be released. Earlier, the tracks “Zinda Banda” and “Chaleya” were released with the latter featuring Nayanthara.

Jawan advance bookings: SRK film mints Rs 1.75 crore in US

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Jawan has been witnessing strong advance sales in the US and has crossed $200K (Rs 1.65 crore) for the opening day in advance booking.

At the time of the last report, it reached $210.40K (Rs 1.75 crore) and is gearing up to score the biggest opening day for a Bollywood film ever in North America, Sacnilk added.

Starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Yogi Babu in key roles, alongside SRK, Jawan’s script has been jointly written by Atlee and S Ramanagirivasan and dialogues by Sumit Arora.

Bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
