Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan declare combined assets of over Rs 1,578 crore, including 17 cars and bank balance over Rs 130 cr

The affidavit declared that Jaya’s bank balance is Rs 10.11 crore and Amitabh’s bank balance is Rs 120.45 crore. Their combined movable property is valued at Rs 849.11 crore, with immovable property amounting to Rs 729.77 crore.

As per the election affidavit, their combined assets include property acquired through various sources. The sources of Jaya’s wealth include the money she earnt through endorsements, her salary as an MP, and her fees as an actor. Amitabh’s income’s sources are stated as interest, rent, dividends, capital gains, and revenue generated by a solar plant apart from his professional fees as an actor.

Another report in The Times of India states that Jaya owns jewellery worth Rs 40.97 crore and one car worth Rs 9.82 lakh. Amitabh, on the other hand, owns jewellery worth Rs 54.77 crore and 16 vehicles worth Rs 17.66 crore, which includes two Mercedes and a Range Rover.

In 2018, Jaya had declared her combined assets with husband Amitabh Bachchan worth Rs 1000 crore.

Jaya has not been actively involved in the movies for many years now. She made her comeback with Karan Johar’s film in 2023. Amitabh, on the other hand, is seen on television in Kaun Banega Crorepati, and is frequently seen in the movies. He was last seen in the 2023 film Ganapath. This year, he will be seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD and Rajinikanth-starrer Vettaiyan.
