"Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya," third track from the soundtrack album of the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan has been unveiled online ahead of a grand music launch event schedule to take place on Wednesday in Chennai. Two other songs - the rousing anthem "Zinda Banda" and the romantic ballad "Chaleya" - had been released previously. The new song isn't a remix of the popular track "Ramaiya Vastavaiya," performed by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi for the Raj Kapoor and Nargis-starrer Shree 420. Instead, it's a rollicking party number performed by Anirudh Ravichander, who also serves as Jawan's music composer, along with Vishal Dadlani and vocalist Shilpa Rao, who also performed the chartbuster track "Besharam Rang," from Shah Rukh's recent hit Pathaan. Listen to the Jawan song "Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya" here: In the music video for Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya, King Khan dances in a nightclub setting, surrounded by dozens of women. He has several different looks in the movie, but this one looks closest to his actual self. In the second half of the song, he is joined by co-star Nayanthara's character, with whom Shah Rukh's character has a romantic track in the movie. Some of the lyrics of the song have a similar racy romantic vibe to the lyrics of War's "Ghungroo," which also featured Rao and Dadlani, as well as "Besharam Rang." A Tamil version of the song featured Anirudh Ravichander alongside Sreerama Chandra and Rakshita Suresh. Also starring Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, Jawan is directed by Atlee, and will be released on September 7. A trailer for the movie is expected to be debuted later this week.
