After surpassing its predecessor Pathaan and setting a new global record, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan box office collection has achieved another remarkable feat. The film has now entered the prestigious Rs 600 crore club in India. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Jawan raked in an impressive Rs 8.80 crore in India on Sunday, pushing its total domestic collection to a whopping Rs 604.25 crore.

On Sunday, the film maintained a strong presence with a 46.73 percent Hindi occupancy rate. Notably, Chennai led in Hindi occupancy with 96.3 percent, and many shows were completely sold out. Despite the release of new films, Jawan continues to display remarkable resilience at the box office. According to Red Chillies Entertainment, the production house of SRK and Gauri Khan which backed Jawan, the film has now amassed a staggering Rs 1,068.50 crore globally as of Sunday.

This achievement comes hot on the heels of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan surpassing the global record set by his previous film, Pathaan, on Saturday, with a total earnings of Rs 1,055 crore, securing its position as the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film. Pathaan had previously held the record with Rs 1,050 crore in worldwide earnings.

Even in its fourth week, Jawan continues to pose strong competition for recent releases. The multi-starrer Fukrey 3 had an exceptional weekend, amassing Rs 16.35 crore on Sunday, bringing its total collection to Rs 44.65 crore. In contrast, The Vaccine War struggled to make an impact, earning only Rs 2.20 crore on Sunday and reaching a total collection of Rs 5.70 crore.

Alongwith SRK, Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Atlee and its music is given by Anirudh Ravichander.
