Jawan box office collection day 19: Shah Rukh Khan’s film rages on, to beat Pathaan’s worldwide gross record this week
Jawan box office collection day 19: On its third Monday, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer saw an expected drop in collections.

Shah Rukh Khan’s actioner Jawan is breaking old box office records and is setting new benchmarks for the films to follow. In its third week, director Atlee’s film managed to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark and also became the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time in India. On its third Monday (day 19), the film’s collection saw an expected drop.
Jawan earned Rs 5.30 crore on Monday, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film’s total domestic collection is Rs 566.08 crore. In the Hindi-speaking market, the film recorded an occupancy of 13.70%. It also continued to pull people in South India, as the Tamil occupancy of the film was 17.16% and Telugu occupancy was 16.93%, despite limited shows.
During its first week in theatres, Jawan, which features Shah Rukh in the dual role of a father and a son, amassed an impressive total of Rs 391.33 cr. In the second week, the film earned Rs 137.06 cr. Though there was a dip in the collection in the second week, Jawan held on well. On the third weekend, the film posted a collection of Rs 34.81 cr in the domestic market.

While sharing Jawan’s worldwide collection, which was Rs 1004.92 crore by Monday, production company Red Chillies Entertainment wrote, “History in the maKING ft. Jawan! 🔥” Now, if Shah Rukh Khan’s third film of the year, Dunki would break Jawan’s records, just like Jawan did of Pathaan, would be interesting to see. For now, SRK has cemented his place as the most successful actor at the box office, with two Rs 1000 cr earners to his credit, that too in the same year.
Jawan also features Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in leading roles, with Deepika Padukone making an extended cameo appearance.
