Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma excited for Jawan mostly because of Shah Rukh Khan’s bald look: ‘Uska jo takla kirdaar hai…’

Director Anil Sharma is currently revelling in the glory of the massive success of his film, Gadar 2. The Gadar 2 team recently organised a success celebration, which saw the presence of Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview, Sharma shared his thoughts on SRK’s highly anticipated film Jawan and discussed the possibility of working with the megastar in the future.

When asked about his reaction to the Jawan trailer, Anil Sharma revealed his admiration, particularly for SRK’s bald look in the clip. He told Pinkvilla in Hindi, “I really liked Jawan’s trailer. I am already a fan of Shah Rukh Khan. I really liked his bald look in the trailer, I really enjoyed that. Mein toh uske liye pehle din picture dekhne jauga (I will watch the film on the first day for Shah Rukh just for that).”

While Anil Sharma greatly admires SRK’s work, he shared his doubts about the prospect of collaborating with the superstar. He explained in Hindi, “We didn’t get a chance to work together. Shah Rukh is such a big star, he has so many big directors lined up. I don’t think I will get a chance, so I don’t even think about it.”

Gadar 2 continues to enjoy a remarkable run at the box office and is poised to surpass the Rs 500 crore mark on Sunday. The film has also outpaced Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan to become the fastest movie to cross the Rs 450 crore milestone.

Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar and features a star-studded cast, including Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Simratt Kaur and Manish Wadhwa in pivotal roles.
