Farah Khan’s cook Dilip asks when Deepika Padukone would come on their show, filmmaker jokes about her 8-hour work shift condition: ‘She doesn’t have time to come’
In her latest vlog, filmmaker Farah Khan joked about Deepika Padukone’s eight-hour work shift condition and told her cook Dilip that the actor doesn’t have time to appear on their show.

In her latest vlog, filmmaker Farah Khan and her cook Dilip visited actor Rohit Saraf’s house in Mumbai. During the delightful house tour, Farah joked about the widespread industry debate around Deepika Padukone’s 8-hour work shift demand. She said that the actor is too busy to come on her show.
Before knocking on the door, Farah told Dilip that they were at Rohit’s house. On seeing the actor, Dilip said, “You aren’t Rohit Shetty!” The filmmaker instantly clarified, “Every Rohit isn’t Rohit Shetty, this is Rohit Saraf.”She then met Rohit’s mother, Anita Saraf, and revealed that the actor hadn’t given her any dates for nearly a year.
After Rohit Saraf introduced his cook Bunnu, Dilip gave him tips to get an increase in his salary. “He doesn’t increase your salary? I’ll tell you how he will increase it. Go and tell him, ‘Pagaar badhaao’ as soon as you wake up in the morning. He will do it on his own. Tell him once, twice, and he will do it the third time. If he doesn’t, then take my number, you can come there.”
Farah Khan couldn’t stop praising Rohit Saraf’s dancing skills, as they have worked together earlier in Ishq Vishq 2. The choreographer shared, “I discovered him in a song for that film. He is such a great dancer.” He replied, “I was so scared because people warned me that if I don’t rehearse properly then Farah ma’am won’t leave me. She is very scary, scolds, and even hits. I am confident about my dance, but for her song, I rehearsed so much.”
The Mismatched actor then gave a tour of his white-themed house. They sat down for a conversation and recalled his early struggles in the city of Mumbai, when Rohit used to live alone at the age of 15. “I used to get Rs 5000 per day for a show on channel V,” he revealed. Farah chimed in, “That’s a lot! When I started dancing in films, Rs 300 a day used to be a lot for us at that time.”
An intrigued Dilip then asked Farah Khan when Deepika Padukone would appear as a guest on their show. “She will come on the show the day you will go to your village,” she replied, and jokingly added, “Deepika Padukone only shoots for 8 hours a day now. She doesn’t have time to come on the show.” “I will also shoot for 8 hours a day now,” he said. “You actually only shoot for only 2 hours a day right now, you will also do it for 8 hours from now on,” Farah replied.
Later, Farah Khan and Rohit Saraf exchanged gifts. Towards the end of the vlog, they enjoyed litti with aloo-baingan chokha, along with Burmese dishes and steamed momos.
