Chennai fans were in for a big surprise when they attended singer Ed Sheeran's concert. Midway through his performance, Ed asked the audience to welcome AR Rahman, sending the crowd into a frenzy as the iconic singer-composer appeared on stage. Videos of the moment show Ed introducing Rahman by saying, "Make some noise for A.R. Rahman," as the maestro walked onto the stage wearing a dazzling blue jacket paired with a black t-shirt and pants. The ecstatic crowd erupted in cheers, but the real surprise was yet to come. Without missing a beat, Rahman launched into his classic song "Urvasi Urvasi" from the 1994 film Kadhalan. The duo then created a mash-up of Ed's much-loved song "Shape of You" with "Urvasi Urvasi". Sharing a video of the moment on Instagram, Ed wrote, "What an honour @arrahman."
