Deepika Padukone shares cryptic note about being forced to choose between success and burnout: ‘So women coming after you..’

Actor Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram handle and shared a cryptic message about success. Deepika, who recently announced her pregnancy with actor-husband Ranveer Singh, talked about changing the definition of success in her latest Instagram update.

The quote read, “Look around where you are; see what you can do to change the definition of success. So women coming after you won’t feel like they have to choose between success and burnout.”

Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February and shared a poster with ‘September 2024’ written on it. The couple tied the knot in 2018 and Deepika had recently opened up about starting a family. “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family,” the actor told Vogue.

The couple recently attended Ambani’s pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar. Deepika and Ranveer marked their presence all the three days and also gave an adorable performance.

The actor had previously opened up about success and had said, “I really don’t know what success means but I think, for me, to be truly successful is to be at peace with myself and to be happy with every day. So for me, it’s not the materialistic things, it’s not the numbers, because there is always more.”

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in the film Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan. She will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2989 AD. The film also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Hassan in pivotal roles. Deepika will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Singham Again.
