Bollywood actor-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh attended Indian Sports Honours 2023 in Mumbai along with Deepika’s father and legendary Badminton player Prakash Padukone. The trio, twinning in black, were all smiles for the camera and struck picture perfect poses at the event which took place on Thursday. While Deepika opted for a black saree with matching jewellery, Ranveer and Prakash chose black suits. Bollywood celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Abhishek Bachchan, Aparshakti Khurrana, Rhea Chakraborty among others also dazzled on the red carpet. Recently, Prakash Padukone made headlines when he revealed that he and his wife Ujjala Padukone are cousins. The former badminton player said, “I got married to my second cousin Ujjala and soon we moved to Copenhagen as I found a job there and lived there till 1986 when Deepika was born. I retired in 1989.” On the work front, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. As for Deepika Padukone, the actor was last seen in the film Pathaan. Deepika recently travelled to Los Angeles where she presented at the prestigious Oscars 2023. She introduced RRR song “Naatu Naatu”, which took home the Best Original Song Oscar.
