Cyrus recalls time when Shah Rukh Khan gracefully handled an elderly fan’s disrespectful request: ‘It was so smooth’
In one of the episodes of Cyrus Broacha's podcast, him and Cyrus Sahukar got candid about Shah Rukh Khan and Sahukar narrated a story emphasising how amazing a person Khan was.

Shah Rukh Khan stands out as a remarkable celebrity, always succeeding in captivating his fans. Whether through a brilliant on-screen performance or a clever and engaging interview, he possesses the innate charm and talent to mesmerise his audience. This remarkable quality of his has also impressed those within the industry, including renowned comedians Cyrus Broacha and Cyrus Sahukar.
In one of the episodes of Broacha’s podcast, Cyrus Says, the two got candid about the Bollywood superstar and Sahukar narrated a story emphasising how amazing a person Khan was.
Recalling an incident that happened while Cyrus Sahukar was shooting an episode of the Signature Masterclass programme featuring Bollywood’s Baadshah himself, the comedian said, “I did a masterclass with him. It was a one-hour-twenty-five-minute show on his life and journey. In the middle of that show, as SRK was talking about his childhood, how he got Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and how nervous he was about life, an uncle who was sitting in the front row began yelling SRK’s name.”
“Aaj weakness lag rahi aankho me thodi,” Sahukar quoted the audience member as saying and added that hearing this, the Bollywood superstar paused and responded to the person: “haa, theek hai… mein aapse baad me baat karunga (I will interact with you later).”
Indicating that the audience member went full ballistic after that, Sahukar said: “After SRK responded, that guy started (talking more). ‘Mein eye ka doctor hoon. thoda dance bhi kariye, bhari dukhi bhari kahaniya bataye ja rahe aap,’ he said.” Highlighting his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan’s handling of the situation, Sahukar quoted the Bollywood superstar as follows: “Sir, mujhe lagta hai aap mujre-wujre par jaiye, ye vaisa show nahi hai (Sir, I think you should go to Mujra for that. This is not that kind of show).”
“Shah Rukh Khan is a superb guy. The way he handled this and the answers he gave were so smooth and yet so nice,” the comedian added.
