Clash of exes, Priyanka Chopra vs Shahid Kapoor on October 2

While Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Haider’, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, is inspired by Shakespeare’s tragedy ‘Hamlet’, Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Mary Kom’ is based on the rise of Olympic bronze medalist boxer Mary Kom. The film is directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Both Shahid and Priyanka have termed their respective films as the ‘toughest film yet’. While Priyanka had said, “ It’s been harder than the hardest..kudos to the crew for keeping it tog.. All good things come to an end.”

Shahid said, “Its a wrap on #haider … Only when u play hamlet u realize what a complex part it is .. Probably my toughest yet !!”

Shahid and Priyanka had met on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ (2009), where the two hit off instantly. But the couple ended their on and off relationship in 2011. But the two were seen together in ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ post their break up in 2012
