Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga movie review: There’s a lot going on in Yami Gautam, Sunny Kaushal film
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga movie review: The yami Gautam-Sunny Kaushal film is fine till it stays on the two of them, but when it starts to play with all its other threads, it starts feeling scattered.

There’s a lot going on in this caper. A diamond heist. Goons and guns. Greedy politicians and straight-arrow officers. Topping it all is a hijack, with men in masks running around a plane, shooting and terrorising passengers.
It all starts off quite smoothly. A swish flight attendant (Yami Gautam) and her businessman paramour (Sunny Kaushal) become entangled in a ‘heeron ki chori’ that goes horribly wrong. They have to remedy matters, or the heat will be turned on them.
Two good-looking people on the run, diving in and out of trouble, is a trope that quite rightfully keeps getting refreshed, because this kind of stuff never really gets old. The quick-fire romance between our lead pair leads to hot dates, and rumpled sheets. Having got the preliminaries out of the way, the film dives into its real business, and for a while we stay with it. Gautam is having quite a time with all kinds of films: we last saw her in ‘Lost’, in which she plays an investigative journalist; here she is a comely flight attendant who knows more than she lets on. And Kaushal is the too-clever-by-half fellow, twisting and turning with the tide.
The film is fine till it stays on the two of them, but when it starts to play with all its other threads, it starts feeling scattered. And the moment it reveals its cards, with alert viewers seeing it come, it loses zing.
