Bappi Lahiri turns director

The film has voice-over by actor Kabir Bedi. Lahiri has also sung and composed music for the film.

Veteran music composer-singer Bappi Lahiri has made his directorial debut with a English documentary on world peace.

The documentary is titled ‘World Peace,Love And Harmony’.

“As much as I love singing and have tried acting too.. direction is something that I always wanted to attempt which I have. It is overwhelming that my first ever venture has won a nomination for a prestigious award. It has motivated me to do much more,” Lahiri said.

The film has voice-over by actor Kabir Bedi. Lahiri has also sung and composed music for the film.

It has been selected for the Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival that begins on August 24.
