‘Aryan Khan ne nichod liya’: Bobby Deol complained to Shah Rukh Khan about son, asked him to come to Ba***ds of Bollywood set
During the release event for Netflix's new show Ba***ds of Bollywood, Bobby Deol complained to Shah Rukh Khan, about his son Aryan Khan's directorial style.

Bollywood had one of its most star-studded nights during the preview launch of the show Ba***ds of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan welcomed everyone and warmed up the crowd to meet the cast of the show and his son Aryan Khan, who has written and directed the show. Big names walked down to meet the star, and among them was actor Bobby Deol, who lauded the newcomer for his efforts but revealed how Aryan really pushed him hard.
Once Bobby took the stage, Shah Rukh said, “We have been working together for 30 years, and we usually aren’t this formal with each other. I never thought that this day would come when we would be working with our kids. I want to thank Bobby from the bottom of my heart, with all my love, for making this show with my son. You have brought so much warmth, love and gravitas to the show.” Bobby replied, “It is quite a special day for me as well, because our kids want to join the same industry, and now Aryan has taken that step. I remember seeing him as a kid and the kind of person he became as he grew up. He has always been ready to conquer the world, and today is the day.”

Bobby revealed that he listened to Aryan for seven hours while he narrated the script to him, even though he had already said yes to the project. He said, “I am extremely lucky to be a part of this project.” Woh alag baat hai ki boht nichodha hamein (he overworked us a lot). He used to ask me, ‘One more take?’ and I used to say, ‘Haan beta, ek aur take (Why not? Let’s do it). I initially thought that he was going to go easy on us, but he made us work very hard. Shah Rukh replied to this and said, “Ek baar isne raat ko call karke bola, ki tu aja bhai yeh boht kaam karwa raha hai, mujhe jaana hai ab (He called me during the night one time and told me, ‘Please come to the set, he is making us work too much. I need to go now).”
Producer Gauri Khan also graced the stage during the event, along with the other cast members.
