Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap recently played a prank on social media when he posted a picture of his bandaged eye.

In the picture, the ‘Bombay Velvet’ director looked solemn with a bandaged left eye. He captioned it, “Now they put a plaster, this is what happens when you get into a brawl with a MMA fighter.”

Anurag’s post led to all kinds of speculation as fans and the media tried to figure out who exactly it was that Anurag got into a fight with. But, looks like these are exactly the reactions that Anurag was hoping for.

He later tweeted that the picture was of prosthetics test for the eye and that he was won a bet due to his post becoming news.
