So, what would you expect from Anil Kapoor when it comes to avoiding the traffic during Ganpati Visarjan? Probably, flying a chopper or carrying out some other stunt to get to his home. But, when it comes to real life the actor chose local train to travel to his home, playing it safe.

Anil not only travelled by the local train but also suggested how it was the best possible way to get home fast. In a series of tweets, the actor surprised his fans with his common man avatar. Anil shared, “Avoiding the visarjan traffic & earning brownie points for getting home on time with the wife! #GanpatiBappaMorya.”

The journey by local train also brought back a lot of childhood memories for Anil. He shared, “#MumbaiCentral life as it passes. Childhood memories, traveling to Delhi to meet my grandparents.” The actor also took time out to click pictures with his fans on the train. His fans included local police. Anil tweeted, “Don’t worry not arrested, just a Happy #selfie with our cops. Thank you for everything! #MumbaiLocal #Dadar.”

At last, Anil also shared how much time he managed to save by travelling via local trains. Anil shared, “What would have taken us 2hrs today took us 20mins #lifeasweknowit On time for Visarjan #ganpatibappamorya.”

Earlier the actor was seen chanting Ganpati Bappa Morya Pudha Warshi Lawkar Ya while carrying Ganesh idol on the streets. He also performed aarti before the immersion procession. Later in the day, Anil along with son Harshvardhan bid adieu to Lord Ganesha.
