Bollywood actors, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor embraced parenthood in November 2022 as they welcomed daughter Raha Kapoor to the family. Ranbir has often spoken about the joy of being a father and recently, Alia revealed how Ranbir has a ritual of talking to their daughter every day while sitting on the balcony of their house.

A few days ago, Alia shared a candid picture of Ranbir with Raha. In the monochrome picture, Ranbir is unaware of being photographed by his wife while he is doting on his daughter. Alia, in a new interview, shared that though that moment happens every day between the father and daughter at Raha’s ‘favourite spot’ in the house, that day she got ‘artistic’ and captured it on her camera.

Revealing the story behind the picture during an interview with Bazaar, Alia shared, “It is Raha’s favourite spot in the house because there is a lot of peace and greenery there. I would say it is her favourite spot as my husband keeps taking her there and making her sit there. He sits next to her and talks to her while she is looking at the greenery and breeze, so it was a moment and they do this every day but I got super artistic (that day).”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor follow a strict policy around not clicking their daughter’s face. The couple has even requested the paparazzi to not share photos of their daughter.

Speaking about the same, Alia had earlier told Vogue, “Ranbir and I are very clear on how long we don’t want Raha to be in the public eye for. We don’t even want to post her pictures on social media. I just don’t feel comfortable with any sort of conversation around my little baby right now. There have been so many good wishes, so many blessings. I’m constantly referred to as Raha’s mommy, which I love and find it very cute. But that’s all I’m okay with right now. I’m very protective of the people I love. And I genuinely don’t think that a baby needs to be a public personality.”

Raha was born to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor on November 6, 2022. The couple got married in April 2022 in the presence of only close friends and family members.
