Akshay Kumar feels most at home in action films and the actor has often claimed that he performs a lot of his stunts by himself. In his latest release, Sky Force, Akshay plays an Air Force Officer and in a recent chat, the actor was asked if he would be able to actually make it as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. Akshay’s answer started with sincerity but the actor was quick to admit that because of the academic qualifications required for the job, he would fail.

In a chat shared on BookMyShow, when Akshay was asked about making it as a fighter pilot, the actor said, “I hope so, and I would definitely give my best shot. Fighter pilot training is no joke. It takes a lot of skill, focus, and discipline. But given my background in fitness and martial arts, I think I could handle the physical aspect of it.”

While Akshay sounded confident about the physical part of the job, he was quick to say that his academics would surely fail him here. “But if you see my education, I think I’d fail the test,” he said and laughed. He went on to reiterate the levels of training needed to be inside those machines, and said, “Flying a fighter jet, that’s a whole different level.  Of course, I would need a lot of training to match our real heroes.”
