Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who has a plethora of hit action films to his credit, prefers to do all the stunts on his own as he doesn’t want to cheat the audience by not giving them the real action experience.
While doing deadly action stunts, the fear of getting hurt is always there, but Akshay Kumar said that these stunts are not done mindlessly.
“That fear is always there, but the stunts we do, we make sure it is safe enough. Even if you are jumping off this stool, you should do all safety checks. You should know how to land. Similarly, it is important that whenever we do it, we ensure nothing goes wrong,” he said.
Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Tiger Shroff was also part of the conversation. He said that while he is afraid of flying in aeroplanes, he sought refuge in the thought that Akshay has done deadlier stunts and survived them.
Tiger said, “We were coming in a flight and I am very scared of flying. I was sitting near the wing and happen to look out of the window. I remember Akshay had done a stunt in Khiladi 420 where he is standing on the wing of the plane and balancing. I was thinking what am I so scared of. I am sitting inside a plane and I am scared. Akshay sir has done daring baazi on top of a plane. I wish I could learn it from him.”
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and has been shot across London, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and Jordan. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist and is set to release on Eid 2024.
