While the actor received a lot of criticism for her look at the Cannes Film Festival, in a recent interview with Vogue, Aishwarya ignored all the negative comments and called her first day’s look ‘magical.’ She said, “The look last evening at the red carpet was designed by my dearest friends Shane and Falguni Peacock. They call it gilded glow but to me it was just magical.”

Aishwarya Rai made her first appearance at the film festival this year in a black and gold gown by Falguni Shane Peacock. The actor sported a plaster in her right arm as she walked the red carpet. Videos from before the red carpet showed Aaradhya Bachchan helping Aishwarya as she made her way through the hotel lobby to the car.

Aishwarya’s second appearance had her wearing a dramatic blue and silver gown, also designed by Falguni Shane Peacock. As she walked the red carpet, she posed with Eva Longoria, who is also the brand ambassador for Loreal. For the last few years, Aishwarya has been attending the festival as a part of her brand collaboration with Loreal.
