Are Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda dating?

In an interview with GQ, Ahaan said, “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not. Chemistry isn’t always romantic—it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”

When asked about his relationship status and the kind of boyfriend he is in real life, Ahaan said, “I’m single. From what my past girlfriends have told me, my love language is acts of service and grand gestures.”

‘Aneet, Ahaan not official yet,’ says Karan Johar

On Sania Mirza’s podcast earlier, Karan Johar had hinted that Aneet and Ahaan might be dating in real life as well. When asked who could be the next “It couple” of Hindi cinema, he named the Saiyaara stars. “Well… they are not yet official, so if they are going to be, I don’t know whether or not because I haven’t checked.”

In the same interview, Ahaan recalled his first meeting with Aneet. “I first met Aneet in Mohit sir’s office. She was running late for the meeting; not her fault, though, since she had another commitment before that. Mohit sir doesn’t like people being late, so he was getting worked up. I didn’t know what to do, so I started doing damage control; I picked up the guitar and began clowning around, singing terribly just to distract him. Then Aneet walks in wearing a yellow dress—such a strong presence; so eloquent, articulate, intelligent.”

Ahaan Panday on facing heartbreak

Ahaan Pandey also talked about going through heartbreak and how that has helped him as an actor. He said that heartbreaks are just part of one’s life and that he uses bits and pieces from his experiences to pull off certain scenes. The actor said, “We’ve all felt it. I’m 27 now. If you’d asked me a few years ago, maybe not, but yes, I have. That’s where you draw from. You channel pieces of it, tweak it for the screen and dramatise it a bit.”

He added, “But off-screen, it’s more internal: you keep it tucked away. I’ve gone through heartbreak, but I’ve never regretted it. Heartbreak is just part of life, and in its own way, it’s a beautiful feeling.”

Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara starred Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, Rajesh Kumar, Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Varun Badola, and Sid Makkar.
