After Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor to work with Ram Charan and Suriya

There is no stopping Janhvi Kapoor. After delivering commendable performances in Hindi movies Bawaal, Mili, and Good Luck Jerrry, the actor is now excited to venture into South cinema. She will be starring in Devara opposite Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. And it seems her journey down South is set to get bigger. Recently, Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor confirmed in an interview with iDream Media that the actor has bagged projects with Ram Charan and Suriya. Janhvi’s film with Ram Charan will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana.

In the interview, Boney said, “My daughter has already shot for a film with Jr NTR. She’s loving every bit of the day she spends on sets here. Soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too. These two boys are doing very well. She has been watching a lot of Telugu films, and she feels blessed to work with them. Hopefully, the films will work, and she will get more work. She will also act with Suriya soon. My wife (Sridevi) acted in multiple languages, I hope my daughter does the same.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s mother Sridevi had quite a flourishing career down South, and on several occasions, Janhvi has shown keen interest in doing South films. With this finally happening, Janhvi also revealed how Devara had a special connection with her mother. Speaking about it at an event, Janhvi had said, “This story is also related to mumma. She and Jr. NTR sir’s grandfather did a lot of movies together and they were quite an iconic pair and mumma would tell a lot of stories about working with him. So I was very excited, I felt my life is full circle now. So, yeah I was very excited and it feels good.”

Devara will be released in two parts, with the first installment hitting screens on October 10, 2024. Other than Devara, Janhvi has Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and Ulajh in Bollywood.
