Aayush Sharma ‘got a heart attack’ when he learnt his cook’s salary, fired him and found it ‘cheaper’ to order in; traveled with a chef to Finland

Farah wondered who prepares their meals in their fancy kitchen, which has four air conditioners and three fridges, and Aayush shared that he fired his chef after he learnt his salary. “I asked my cook how much he gets paid and I got a heart attack after I heard the number. I realised that ordering food from downstairs is cheaper than paying him his monthly salary,” he said and added that there was a restaurant in the building.

Arpita then revealed that they get daily dabbas from Salman Khan’ house, which is prepared by his mother Salma Khan. Arpita said that she sends food to brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan as well. They shared that she also sends food to the set when her kids are shooting, and she does the same for Aayush as well. When asked if there was a set menu for this, Arpita said that they usually get whatever is prepared, but if Aayush has a special request, he can tell her about it.

Aayush said that when they started dating, Arpita and Aayush couldn’t see eye to eye about their food choices but now, when they travel abroad, they travel with a chef. “We took a chef to Finland because we can’t mange otherwise,” they shared and as Farah wondered how the chef cooked in an igloo, Arpita casually shared, “We stayed in a villa.”
