Aamir Khan reaches Ludhiana; ‘Dangal’ shoot set to begin
All set to begin the shoot for his upcoming flick 'Dangal' in villages of Ludhiana, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan reached the city on Sunday (September 13).
Welcomed with Punjabi beats of dhol and bhangra organized by the hotel, Aamir Khan was seen sporting a casual look in a blue kurta and pyjamas.
All set to begin the shoot for his upcoming flick ‘Dangal’ in villages of Ludhiana, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan reached the city on Sunday.
Checking in at a high end hotel in the city on Sunday around noon, Aamir Khan was all smiles as he greeted the guests and even allowed them to click some selfies.
Welcomed with Punjabi beats of dhol and bhangra organized by the hotel, Aamir Khan was seen sporting a casual look in a blue kurta and pyjamas.

He was also holding the book ‘Aarushi: Anatomy of a Murder’ in his hands authored by Avirook Sen on the controversial Aarushi murder mystery- as he stepped out of his black Mercedes.

“Since the stay in Ludhiana and shoot schedule is a long one, the car has been brought along from Mumbai,” a source told Indian Express.
Sources from the production team confirmed that Aamir Khan will be spending close to two months in Ludhiana. The shooting of Dangal has been planned in villages of Kila Raipur, Gujjarwal and Narangwal.

The villages have been given a complete Haryanvi transformation for Dangal, which is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who belongs to Haryana.

The local carpenters, artists and labourers have been employed on the sets as the art designing team of the film reached Ludhiana in June itself and started the work on sets and look of the film.
The shoot, sources said, is all set to begin on Tuesday and before that Aamir is expected to do a recce of the sets in the villages on Monday.
